We have a busy Parish Hall at St Alphege's. It is used throughout the week to host a diverse range of community groups, classes and events. We are often hired for Private Functions such as Birthday Parties, Wedding Receptions, Funeral Wakes and Exhibitions.
How to make a booking
To make a booking or to check availability please email the office (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call Sara on 01225 332202 (Office Hours Wed and Thurs 9am to 3pm).You will be asked to complete and return a Hall Hire Agreement to secure your booking.
The Hall Hire Rates are currently £22 per hour (minimum of 2hrs). Please ask for details of special Party Rates of 3hrs or more. You may also be asked to provide a cheque for £30 (£50 for evening events), only to be cashed if the hall is left in an unacceptable condition.
We offer discounts to Non Profit Making Community Groups.
You can pay either by cash, cheque or Bank Transfer.

How to gain access
A day or two before your confirmed booking, you will be contacted and given a four-digit code to obtain the front door key from the keysafe (this is situated to the right of the front door).
Please make sure all the doors and windows are locked when you leave and return the key to the keysafe.
Please note that there are no rubbish or recycling facilities at the hall. Please make arrangements to take this away with you.
We have a fantastic, enclosed garden at St Alphege's which you are welcome to use.
St Alphege's has disabled access, 3 toilets (one with disabled access) and nappy-changing facilities. We have a fully-fitted kitchen which includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, a double oven and a water boiler. We have cutlery and china for approximately 60 people.
The hall is approximately 16m X 6m. There are 35 trestle tables and 100 chairs available for your use.
St Alphege's holds a License for Refreshments, Entertainment and the Sale of Alcohol until midnight. (License No. 18/00722/LAPRE).
