Guide Book & Slide Show


A CD of the church is available, for use with home computers and DVD players.
The CD contains both a Guide Book and a Slide Show .

Guide Book

Put the CD into a computer to view or print-out a 42-page A4-size Guide Book
with 115 colour photos.

  • The Story of the Building of the Church, and a look around the Church
  • Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the architect
  • The Story of St Alphege
  • All the Pillar Carvings showing the lives of Our Lady and St Alphege, plus carvings of Giles Gilbert Scott & other figures associated with the building.
  • The Stations of the Cross carved panels.
  • St Joseph's Church.

Two formats of the guide book are included on the CD:

  • A version in pdf (portable document format) which requires Adobe Reader programme to view it. Most computers now have Adobe Reader installed, but it can also be downloaded free from the Internet, and many CDs given out with computer magazines also contain it.
  • A version in MS Word format, created in Windows XP.

Slide Show

Put the CD into a DVD Player which has JPEG photo capability to view a 70-photo slide show of the churches on a television set. The Slide Show may also be viewed on a computer.

Cost

The CD is available in return for a donation towards the maintenance of the church (minimum 6 GBP (Great Britain Pounds)), plus postage, as follows;

To U.K. Addresses. Total 6.75 GBP minimum.
To Europe. Total 7.56 GBP minimum.
To Rest of World. Total 7.96 GBP minimum.

United Kingdom residents may pay by cheque or postal order.
Overseas orderers please note that payment can only be made by STERLING cheques
