St Alphege's Under Scaffolding
Autumn 2011

'Our Lady and St Alphege's church has been pinned down by scaffolding for some weeks now. The reason is the essential roof repairs for which the Parish is working hard to raise the hefty £70k that it is costing.

However the building is so beautiful, that even shrouded in it's heavy metal armour, on a sunny day, it manages to remain majestic' providing different reflections in the flowing stream'.

Shelagh Hetreed took a walk around the church with her camera to capture some photographs.
